In a rain effected tournament, Eccleston Amber won four games and drew the last game, which effectivly made Amber the group winners.

Henry picked up the parents player of the tournament and Ryan the managers. Well done to all!

Tournament Details

Tarleton Red 0 - 1 Eccleston Amber

The first game of the tournament saw Eccleston dominate the game from start to finish with James in goal having very little to do. Ryan scored the only goal of the game in which any of the midfielders / strikers with a bit more luck could have added to the total.

Eccleston Amber 2 - 1 Ribbleton Black

In a game played in torrential rain, Eccleston carried on their form from the last game and ran out strong 2 - 1 winners. Lincoln played down the left hand side of midfield and was too strong for Ribbleton and created a number of chances to score.

Goals from Lincoln and Ryan saw the team finish as winners.

Eccleston Amber 1 - 1 Southport Trinity Blue

In a very even game Eccleston fell behind for the first time and needed great determination from the defence particularly from Luke to stop the team falling further behind. However the team rallied yet again and got back on top of Trinity, which eventually led to an equaliser from Lucas. Matthew and Henry ensured that Eccleston remained on top and could of snatched a win towards the end.
