Another great day for football at Central Venue today, as Amber played Lostock Hall. The starting line up had James in goal, Henry and Matthew in defence, Zak, Lucas and Ryan in midfield with Lincoln up front, with Luke and Jack as subs. It was evident straight from the kick off that Eccleston Amber wanted a win. The game started at a great pace and Lostock showed themselves as a very good team, keeping possesion really well. The game started with Eccleston creating many chances with Zak and Lincoln scoring great goals.  Eccleston had many chances to add to the score but Lostock scored a great goal from a well worked set piece. The game was end to end with Eccleston having many chances to score but were finding the Lostock goalkeeper in great form. Henry and Luke in the second half were superb at the back with James in great form with an excellent save denying Lostock a scoring chance. Zak though today was in great form finding players with all his passes and was certainly causing Lostock problems at the back. Ryan, Lincoln and Lucas slowly began to run the show in midfield/up front and dominated the game.  Jack had a strong second half and ensured that Eccleston remained on top throughout. This was a great advert for junior football,  with two excellent committed footballing sides playing end to end attacking football. Phil and myself  were delighted with the effort today and the work rate was excellent, and when we had possession we used the ball well and created lots of chances. Man of the match: This could have gone to a number of players today, with excellent performances through all nine players. The parents and managers  man of the match today were  Lucas and Zak, well done!,
