On a cold saturday morning, Red Rose dominated the opening exchanges with excellent passing between their players.

Henry and Matthew struggled to prevent Red Rose bearing down on James in goal, as they over ran Eccleston in midfield. It was no surprise that after 10 minutes Eccleston fell well behind. James managed a penalty save during this time and was also making a number of fine stops in a very one sided game.

Ryan, Lucas and Zak were trying to close players down but it was just not their day.  Joesph was brought on after ten minutes and the midfield was re-arranged. Amber now began to get a grip on the game and managed to score a great goal by Lincoln just before half time.

In the second half Eccleston started to make a real difference in the game and Lucas and  Lincoln managed to jostle Red Rose into making mistakes and it was no surprises that both Lucas and Lincoln manged to get on the score sheet again.  Jack was chasing hard and making some great clearances and passes to his team mates. Whilst the result was not in doubt after the first ten minutes, Eccleston ensured that they did not lose the second half as they scored as many goals as they had conceeded.

Lincoln was the parents man of the match and capped off a great week as he picked up the pass master award in training this week. James was the managers man od the match for his key saves.
