Amber unlucky against Cadley
In a hard fought game, Eccleston dominated the opening exchanges with excellent passing between all the players. Matthew and Henry were on top of their games and ensured that Cadley did not get an opportunity to score.
Ryan, Lucas and Zak were closing players down and linking the play up between defence and attack. During this period Lincoln harried Cadley into making mistakes and it was no surprises that Lucas opened the scoring as Eccleston were in their ascendancy. However sloppy play towards end of the half let the opposition back in the game. Henry though with his trade mark long range efforts almost added a second before the interval. In the second half James started to see more of the ball as Cadley pressed and was forced into a number of last ditch efforts. Luke and Joseph worked hard to repel the attacks and Jack ran the front line hard, however Cadley added two goals to their tally. As the game went on it became more scrappy but Eccleston started to get on top and Ryan got a number of excellent crosses into the box. A flurry of late corners failed to add to Ambers goal tally. James was the parents man of the match and Lucas the managers.Last Updated (Sunday, 07 February 2010 18:39)
