Leyland Albion Match Report
Eccleston Amber were on fire today, as they comfortably outplayed their opposition at Northenden School.
The game started very brightly with Lucas scoring the opening goal within the first minute. During the first half Ryan, Henry and Matthew made sure that defence was quickly turned into attack, with the Leyland Albion keeper making a number of great saves to keep the score down. James in goal had only one touch of the ball as Eccleston Amber piled on the pressure with Luke and Zak down the wings. Joseph replaced Luke in the second half and Eccleston continued to play excellent passing football on a very difficult pitch. Luke and Lucas were the managers and parents players of the week respectively. A penalty shoot out was held at the end of the game which saw both teams score an equal amount of penalties.
