Just for a little bit of fun, I’d like to propose that we have a little contest where we predict the Top 2 teams from each World Cup group and then the Top 4 places in the World Cup. I am offering up no prizes, unless there is a call for it to add a bit of spice or to raise funds for Amber.

The winner will be the person(s) whose grand total – adding group forecasts and final 4 forecast together give the highest mark.

Group Rounds – Top 2 Teams in Each League - 5 pts for correctly identifying the group winner and 3pts for the team who finishes 2nd.

Top 4 places in World Cup:

- 10 pts World Cup Winner

- 8 pts 2nd

- 6 pts 3rd

- 4 pts 4th

Anyone can enter (Parents, player's, friends etc.) I’ll gladly keep a record of forecasts made by all and will print the marks on the Eccleston Amber web site after the group stage's and after the final result.

The deadline is Sunday 30th May 2010 and entries should be sent to me by e-mail (neillbtaylor@gmail.com) with your team name. I will publish all the team entries on the web site the next day.
